Iran actor Ali Ramez passes away in Tehran

Veteran actor of stage and screen Ali Ramez has passed away of natural causes in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

Theater-actor-turned-film-star, Ali Ramez, died at his Tehran home on Thursday, December 28. He was 90.

His funeral procession will commence at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on Sunday with his burial taking place on Saturday.

Ramez learned about theater due to his acquaintance with actors such as Ezzatollah Entezami.

The thespian went on to study at College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran and continued his studies in Belgium.

Ali Ramez is notable for his roles in series such as ‘Amir Kabir’, ‘Plenipotentiary’ and ‘One of These Days’.
